MLB: Texas 3, Seattle 2

ARLINGTON, Texas, April 6 (UPI) -- Josh Hamilton and Michael Young drove in the decisive runs with RBI doubles in the sixth inning Tuesday and the Texas Rangers bested Seattle 3-2.

Mitch Moreland accounted for the Rangers' other run with second-inning triple, helping Texas start the season at 5-0 for the first time since 1996.

Alexi Ogando (1-0) earned the win by pitching six shutout innings in his first major league start, surrendering only two hits and two walks along the way.

Neftali Feliz picked up his second save with a 1-2-3 ninth inning.

The Mariners' Michael Pineda (0-1) was saddled with the loss, allowing three runs on five hits in six innings.

Seattle got its runs on back-to-back singles by Jack Wilson and Michael Saunders in the seventh.
