MLB: Los Angeles Angels 5, Tampa Bay 3

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., April 5 (UPI) -- Torii Hunter and Alberto Callaspo collected two RBI apiece Tuesday, pacing the Los Angeles Angels' 5-3 victory over Tampa Bay.

Hank Conger added a solo homer for the Angels, who broke a three-game losing streak.

Los Angeles starter Jered Weaver (2-0) earned the win, yielding one run on three hits while walking three and striking out six in 6 2/3 innings.

B.J. Upton contributed a two-run homer and Sean Rodriguez added a solo shot for Tampa Bay, which fell to 0-4.

Jeff Niemann (0-1) absorbed the loss, surrendering five runs on nine hits with one walk in six-plus innings.
