MILWAUKEE, April 4 (UPI) -- Martin Prado and Dan Uggla each hit solo homers in the eighth inning Monday, lifting the Atlanta Braves to a 2-1 victory over Milwaukee.
Trailing 1-0 entering the frame, Prado started the Braves' rally, greeting reliever Takashi Saito by pulling a 3-2 pitch over the left-field wall.
Two batters latter, Uggla deposited a hanging pitch into the bullpen off Saito (0-1), giving Atlanta the lead.
Braves starter Brandon Beachy held the Brewers to one run on four hits and one walk over six innings, fanning seven.
The victory went to Peter Moylan (1-0), who retired two Milwaukee batters in the seventh inning and one in the eighth. Craig Kimbrel notched his second save after striking out the side in the ninth.
Rickie Weeks homered for the Brewers, who have dropped four straight to start a season for the first time since 2003.
