New Orleans' fourth win in six games tied it with Memphis for seventh place in the NBA West. Houston is another three games back in ninth place.

The Pacers had won three in a row going into this game but the best they could muster against the Hornets was 15 points apiece from Danny Granger and Mike Dunleavy.

Still, the Hornets hold a three-game edge over Charlotte for the final playoff berth in the NBA East with just two games to go.
