MLB: N.Y. Mets 6, Florida 4 (10 innings)

MIAMI, April 2 (UPI) -- Willie Harris highlighted a three-run 10th inning with a two-run double that helped lift the New York Mets to a 6-4 victory over Florida.

David Wright also drove in a 10th-inning run with a single for New York, which logged its first win of the season after an opening day loss to Florida.

The Marlins mounted a comeback try in the bottom of the 10th with a two-run single from Brett Hayes, but Blaine Boyer picked up the save when he induced Scott Cousins to ground into the final out.

Francisco Rodriguez (1-0) got the victory despite blowing the save in the ninth when Greg Dobbs forced extra innings with a pinch-hit, RBI single.

Ryan Webb (0-1) was saddled with the loss after allowing the Mets' extra-inning explosion.
