Horsey fired an eagle, five birdies and two bogeys on his way to a 5-under 67 at Golf du Palais Royal.

Last year Davies charged back from a two-stroke deficit in the final round to best Louis Oosthuizen and log his first career win on the European Tour.

Jaco Van Zyl registered a round of 7-under 65 -- only one stroke off the course record -- and moved into sole possession of third place at minus-nine.

George Coetzee (69) and Mikko Ilonen (69) finished the day deadlocked for fourth at 8-under 207.

Second-round co-leader Joost Luiten, meanwhile, tumbled into a sixth-place tie one shot further back with a 1-under 71.
