COL BKB: Alabama 62, Colorado 61

NEW YORK, March 30 (UPI) -- Trevor Releford scored in the closing seconds Tuesday to give Alabama a 62-61 win over Colorado in the semifinals of the NIT in New York.

Releford rolled in a layup with 12.6 seconds left on the clock and the Crimson Tide (25-11) trailing by a point. Alabama will face Wichita State (28-8) Thursday in the finals at Madison Square Garden.

JaMychal Green led the Tide with 22 points, hitting 11-of-16 shots from the field.

Alec Burks scored 20 and Levi Knutson added 14 for Colorado (24-14).

Alabama led by as many as 11 points in the first half and 36-30 at the intermission.

The Buffaloes put together an 18-7 run and stampeded into the lead 61-60 on a dunk by Andre Roberson with under 2 minutes to play.
