COL BKB: Wichita St. 75, Washington St. 44

NEW YORK, March 29 (UPI) -- Garrett Stutz pumped in 24 points Tuesday, boosting Wichita State into the National Invitation Tournament final with a 75-44 rout of Washington State.

Stutz went 10-of-13 from field and dominated the glass with 13 rebounds for the fourth-seeded Shockers (28-8), who jumped off to a 36-19 halftime lead and never looked back.

Toure Murry added 13 points and Gabe Blair grabbed nine rebounds to go with 10 points as Wichita State advanced to Thursday's championship game against either Alabama or Colorado.

Second-seeded Washington State (22-13) was held to 28.8 percent from the field.

DeAngelo Casto and Reggie Moore led the Cougars with nine points each.
