MILWAUKEE, March 23 (UPI) -- Marcus Thornton scored 27 points and Beno Udrih added 25 Wednesday, lifting the Sacramento Kings to a 97-90 victory over Milwaukee.
Thornton grabbed six rebounds and Udrih added six boards and six assists for the Kings, who won for only the third time in 12 games.
The win came a day after Anaheim, Calif., Mayor Tom Tait announced the city was close to landing an NBA team, thought to be the Kings.
Carlos Delfino led the Bucks with 30 points.
Milwaukee fell three games behind Indiana for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.
