NHL: Anaheim 5, Calgary 4 (OT)

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 20 (UPI) -- Corey Perry scored his second goal of the game with 2:22 left in overtime Sunday, bringing Anaheim a 5-4 victory over Calgary.

With each point vital in the compact Western Conference playoff race, Anaheim moved into a share of eighth place with Dallas. Those two teams are only one point behind Chicago, Nashville and Los Angeles and one in front of Calgary.

Anaheim's Bobby Ryan was awarded a penalty shot in overtime, but was stopped by Henrik Karlsson. On the ensuing faceoff, Ryan Getzlaf kicked the puck to Lyndman and he scored on a one-timer.

The Ducks forced overtime when Teemu Selanne scored on the power play with 2:01 remaining in regulation.

Calgary scored four unanswered goals after falling behind 3-0. Two of those four goals came from Tom Kostopoulos.

Perry's first goal was scored on the power play in the opening period, one of three Anaheim produced in the game's first 5:49. That outburst caused Miikka Kiprusoff to be replaced in goal by Karlsson.

Dan Ellis got the win with 37 saves. Perry's two goals brought his season total to 39 and moved him into second place behind Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos, who has 43.
