NBA: Dallas 101, Golden State 73

DALLAS, March 20 (UPI) -- Peja Stojakovic hit one of the three 3-pointers Dallas had during a game-closing surge Sunday that carried the Mavericks to a 101-73 whipping of Golden State.

The Mavericks held only a seven-point lead with 9:57 to play before finishing the contest on a 23-2 run.

Dallas held the Warriors to 30 points below their season average and the 73 points were the fewest the Mavericks have allowed all year.

Dirk Nowitzki paced Dallas with 20 points and Stojakovic made five of his team's 12 3-pointers. Stojakovic returned from a six-game absence brought on by a strained neck muscle.

Tyson Chandler added 17 points for Dallas and Roddy Beaubois had 15. Golden State, which has lost four straight, got 18 points from Monta Ellis.
