DENVER, March 19 (UPI) -- Justin Harper scored 19 points Saturday, helping 12th-seeded Richmond reach the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 with a 65-48 victory over Morehead State.

Kevin Anderson added 14 points and Dan Geriot contributed 13 for the Spiders (29-7), who gained the round of 16 for the first time since 1988.

Their task next weekend will be to face the winner of Saturday's later game between top-seeded Kansas or No. 9 seed Illinois.

Demonte Harper, whose late 3-pointer boosted Morehead State (25-10) to an upset of Louisville Thursday, was held to four points on 2-of-15 shooting Saturday.

Kenneth Faried scored 11 points and grabbed 13 boards for the 13th-seeded Eagles.
