NBA: Portland 111, Cleveland 70

PORTLAND, Ore., March 18 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge finished off a 22-point run early in the game Thursday that sent the Portland Trail Blazers storming to a 111-70 crushing of Cleveland.

The Cavaliers, coming off just their fifth road victory of the season 24 hours earlier in Sacramento, fell behind 24-2 and made no move to get back in the game.

The 70 points were the second-fewest scored by Cleveland this season. The Cavaliers' worst showing of the season came in an embarrassing 112-57 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers Jan. 11.

Aldridge scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in helping Portland to its second straight win. Wesley Matthews and Nicolas Batum added 14 each for the Trail Blazers.

Ramon Sessions scored 14 points for the Cavaliers.
