VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 17 (UPI) -- Henrik Sedin completed a Vancouver comeback with two late goals Wednesday and the Canucks wrapped up a division title with a 4-2 win over Colorado.
Vancouver won its seventh straight and improved its NHL-leading point total to 103. The Canucks are 10 points in front of Philadelphia in the race for the best record in the league.
With a 22-point lead over Calgary in the Northwest Division, the Canucks became the first team to clinch a division crown. Vancouver needs just two more points to equal the club's single-season record.
Colorado came up with goals 1:27 apart in the first period from Erik Johnson and Matt Duchene and had a 2-0 lead at the end of the stanza.
Maxim Lapierre started the Vancouver rally with a second-period goal and Alex Burrows tied it 9:32 into the third. Sedin delivered the tiebreaking goal with 8:10 to go and then added some insurance with an empty-netter with 1:14 to play.
Cory Schneider stopped 27 shots for the Canucks.
Brian Elliott stopped 36 shots in Colorado's 19th loss in 20 games.
