NBA: Philadelphia 104, LA Clippers 94

LOS ANGELES, March 17 (UPI) -- Jodie Meeks turned in one of his best performances of the season Wednesday in leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 104-94 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 76ers had lost the opening two games of a five-game road trip but the second-year point guard scored 22 points while hitting five 3-pointers. He came within four points of his season-best total.

Jrue Holliday added 20 points and Elton Brand had 19 for Philadelphia, which is holding onto seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

The 76ers outscored the Clippers 30-19 in the third period to take a 14-point advantage into the final quarter.

Los Angeles got 20 points from Randy Foye.
