NBA: Dallas 112, Golden State 106

OAKLAND, Calif., March 17 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki brought Dallas out of an early hole with 34 points and the Mavericks took over down the stretch Wednesday for a 112-106 win over Golden State.

The Warriors led by as many as 20 points in the second period but the Mavericks closed to within six at halftime and had the score tied going into the fourth quarter.

Nowitzki made 10-of-22 from the field and all of his 12 attempts from the foul line. He added 12 rebounds.

Jason Terry chipped in 19 points and was one of six Dallas players in double figures. Guard Roddy Beaubois, playing in his 14th game of the season, produced his season-best point total for the second straight contest. Beaubois had 16 points on Tuesday against Portland and 18 points against the Warriors.

Dallas had lost its previous two games.

Monta Ellis had 26 points for Golden State and David Lee scored 22.
