MILWAUKEE, March 16 (UPI) -- Hedo Turkoglu's two free throws with 5 seconds left in overtime Wednesday clinched Orlando's 93-89 win over Milwaukee and put the Magic in the playoffs.
Dwight Howard had a huge game with 31 points and 22 rebounds but he missed two free throws with 50 seconds to go in the fourth period that would have given Orlando a six-point lead.
Orlando became the fourth team in the Eastern Conference to wrap up a post-season berth, joining Chicago, Boston and Miami. The Magic moved within 3 1/2 games of Miami for the lead in the Southeast Division.
Turkoglu scored eight of his 19 points in the extra period. Jason Richardson added 13 for the Magic.
Brandon Jennings led Milwaukee with 23 points and hit two free throws in the final second of the fourth period to force overtime. Milwaukee has lost three in a row.
