COL BKB: Kentucky 70, Florida 54

ATLANTA, March 13 (UPI) -- Brandon Knight scored 17 points and No. 16 Kentucky defended its SEC Conference crown Sunday with a 70-54 victory over No. 12 Florida.

Terrence Jones added 16 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats (25-8), who earned an automatic NCAA Tournament berth with their 27th all-time conference championship.

Darius Miller contributed 15 points and six boards for the Wildcats, who raised their all-time record against the Gators to 90-33.

Florida (26-7) was led by Kenny Boynton's 10 points. Chandler Parson added nine points and 10 boards in the Gators' loss.
