COL BKB: Florida 77, Vanderbilt 66

ATLANTA, March 12 (UPI) -- Kenny Boynton struck for 24 points Saturday, powering No. 12 Florida's 77-66 victory over Vanderbilt in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament.

Erving Walker scored 17 points, and Chandler Parsons contributed 16 points and nine rebounds for the Gators (26-6), who advanced to Sunday's SEC final where they will face Kentucky.

Boynton drained five 3-pointers and Florida went 11-of-21 from beyond the arc as the Gators reached the final for the first time since their last conference championship in 2007.

The third-seeded Commodores (23-10) got 21 points from Jeffery Taylor and Festus Ezeli added 17 with nine boards.
