NBA: New Jersey 94, Golden State 90

NEWARK, N.J., March 9 (UPI) -- Brook Lopez started and finished a game-ending seven-point run Wednesday to help rally the New Jersey Nets to a 94-90 victory over Golden State.

It was New Jersey's third straight win, the Nets' longest such streak in more than two years.

The Warriors had a 90-87 lead when Lopez began the late surge with a layup. Golden State did not score a point over the final 3 minutes.

Lopez wrapped up the victory by making two free throws with 3 seconds remaining.

New Jersey had not won three in a row since putting together a four-game streak from Jan. 31-Feb. 7, 2009.

Lopez scored 26 points and hauled down 10 rebounds to lead the Nets. Anthony Morrow had 22 points, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

New Jersey won despite playing without Deron Williams, who missed the contest to be with his family for the birth of his fourth child.

Golden State got 17 points from David Lee and 16 from Monta Ellis. The Warriors have lost three out of four.
