SACRAMENTO, March 3 (UPI) -- Nicolas Batum's 3-point shot kicked off an 11-point run in the final minutes Wednesday that shoved the Portland Trail Blazers to a 107-102 win over Sacramento.
The game was tied when the Trail Blazers went on their key surge. They held the Kings scoreless for almost 3 minutes in halting a two-game skid.
Wes Matthews scored 21 points for the Trail Blazers, making 8-of-12 from the field. LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points, although it took him 27 shots to do it, and Andre Miller had 19 for Portland.
DeMarcus Cousins and Marcus Thornton teamed to score 54 off the bench for the Kings.
Cousins had 28 points to go with 11 rebounds and Thornton made 11-of-18 shots for his 26 points.
