SINGAPORE, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Karrie Webb, fueled by four consecutive birdies at one point, shot 3-under-par 69 Sunday and claimed the HSBC Women's Champions event for her 37th LPGA victory.

Webb opened the final round one stroke behind Chie Arimura, who had led after each of the first three rounds, but used six birdies against the bogeys to out-duel Arimura, whose final round 71 included four birdies and three bogeys.

Webb finished the tournament at 13-under 275, one stroke better than Arimura. World No. 1 Yani Tseng, who has four tournament wins already this year, had a 5-under 67 Sunday and wound up third at 10-under while Yoo Sun-young (69) was fourth at 8-under and Morgan Pressel (68) was fifth another stroke back.

Tseng had five birdies on the front nine but fell out of contention with bogeys at Nos. 10 and 12 and even birdies at 13 and 16 weren't enough for her to catch the leaders.

Webb was three strokes back when she ran off four consecutive birdies from Nos. 11-14, a stretch in which Arimura was 1-over.

Webb's 37th career victory is 12th best on the LPGA chart, three wins behind No. 11 Carol Mann.
