NHL: Boston 3, Edmonton 2

EDMONTON, Alberta, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Michael Ryder scored and added an assist Sunday, helping the Boston Bruins win a fifth straight road game with a 3-2 verdict over Edmonton.

Ryder's goal with 4 1/2 minutes left in the first period erased a 1-0 Oilers lead. He later assisted on Rich Peverley's second-period goal, which handed the Bruins a 3-1 advantage.

Nathan Horton also scored for the Bruins. Tuukka Rask turned aside 15-of-17 shots for Northeast Division-leading Boston, which improved to 5-0 on its current six-game road trip.

Gilbert Brule scored and Devan Dubnyk made 37 saves for Edmonton.
