NBA: Miami 121, Washington 113

MIAMI, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- It took a 41-point performance from Dwyane Wade Friday to lift Miami to an unexpectedly difficult 121-113 victory over Washington.

The Wizards have won just one road game this season, but they were within four points heading into the final period before eventually falling behind by as many as 14.

Wade made 18-of-27 from the field and the Heat shot 52 percent as a team. LeBron James had 25 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and Chris Bosh bounced back from a poor effort against Chicago Thursday to score 15 points.

Bosh made just 1-of-18 attempts in the loss to the Bulls.

Nick Young made 6-of-8 shots from 3-point range and scored 38 points for Washington, which is 1-28 on the road this season.

Guard Mike Bibby, playing for the first time since being obtained by Washington in a trade with Atlanta, missed all four of his field goal attempts.
