Toms tied for lead in Mexico

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Former PGA Championship winner David Toms shot a 5-under-par 66 Thursday to share the lead after one round of the Mayakoba Golf Classic.

Mark Hensby, Kyle Stanley and Andres Gonzales were tied at the top with Toms, who is no longer ranked among the top 64 players in the world and thus was ineligible for this week's WGC Match Play Championship.
