OTTAWA, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Brad Marchand started and finished a string of four unanswered Boston goals Friday to give the Bruins a 4-2 decision over Ottawa.
Boston has won the first two stops on a six-game road trip and improved its lead over Montreal in the Northeast Division to four points.
The Bruins faced a 1-0 deficit when Marchand tied it 6:47 into the second period. It was still a 1-1 contest when the Bruins went on a three-goal splurge over a span of 6:06 of the third.
Nathan Horton gave Boston the lead, Dennis Seidenberg scored on the power play and Marchand added his 18th of the season with 4:08 to play.
Alexei Kovalev produced a score for Ottawa with 1:30 remaining.
Tuukka Rask made 32 saves in his third win in four starts.
Robin Lehner lost his fourth straight, giving up four goals on 33 shots.
