NHL: Calgary 4, Dallas 2

CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Tom Kostopoulos started a streak of three unanswered goals that finished the game Wednesday and brought the Calgary Flames a 4-2 win over Dallas.

The Stars rallied from a 1-0 deficit after one period to take the lead on second-period tallies from Mike Ribeiro and Jamie Langenbrunner.

Calgary started its comeback on a power-play goal from Kostopoulos with 5:51 to go in the second and the Flames seized control with two quick goals in the third from Cory Sarich and Steve Staios.

The goal by Staios was shorthanded and propelled Calgary to its second straight win. The victory went to Miikka Kiprusoff, who stopped 22 shots.

Dallas lost its third straight and has nine setbacks in 11 games. Kari Lehtonen made 31 saves in taking the loss.
