NBA: Portland 103, New Orleans 96

PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge scored 34 points Wednesday in bringing the Portland Trail Blazers from behind in the fourth period to a 103-96 win over New Orleans.

The Trail Blazers will carry a six-game winning streak into the All-Star break. It is their longest winning streak since November 2009.

Portland faced a six-point deficit heading to the fourth quarter, but took the lead for good when Aldridge converted a 3-point play with 4:13 remaining.

Aldridge made 13-of-18 shots from the field and grabbed seven rebounds. Wesley Matthews added 24 points and Andre Miller had 18 for Portland.

The Hornets, who have lost three in a row and nine out of 11, were led by 27 points from David West.
