NBA: Phoenix 102, Utah 101

PHOENIX, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Steve Nash scored 32 points and Channing Frye tallied 31 Tuesday to lead the Phoenix Suns past Utah 102-101.

Nash and Frye both notch double-doubles and converted clutch free throws in the home stretch. Nash had 14 assists and passed Gary Payton into seventh place on the NBA all-time assist list.

Al Jefferson led the Jazz with 32 points and 10 rebounds. CJ Miles added 19 points in Utah's third consecutive loss.

Deron Williams hit a 3-pointer with 1:16 to play to cut the Phoenix lead to 99-98. Neither team could convert from the field the rest of the way, but Frye hit one free throw and Nash sank two with under 10 seconds to play to nail down the win.
