COL BKB: Texas A&M 71, Iowa State 66

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Two free throws by Khris Middleton with 50 seconds left ended an Iowa State rally Wednesday and helped boost No. 17 Texas A&M past the Cyclones 71-66.

Iowa State lost its eighth straight, but battled the Aggies until the final minute. Middleton's foul shots gave Texas A&M a six-point lead and wrapped up the Aggies' 20th win of the season.

Nathan Walkup led Texas A&M (20-5, 7-4 Big 12) with 19 points. Middleton had 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

It was the first Texas A&M home game in 12 days.

Jake Anderson led Iowa State (14-12, 1-10) with 18 points. Iowa State made a game of it by hitting 11-of-22 from 3-point range.
