NHL: Philadelphia 4, Tampa Bay 3 (SO)

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Kimmo Timonen scored in the seventh round of a shootout Tuesday, handing the Philadelphia Flyers a 4-3 decision over Tampa Bay.

After Timonen beat Dwayne Roloson with his tiebreaker tally, the Flyers' Brian Boucher made it hold up for the win by stopping Martin St. Louis and Philadelphia avoided a season's sweep at the hands of the Bolts.
