NHL: Los Angeles 1, Philadelphia 0

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Jonathan Quick notched his sixth shutout of the season Saturday, stopping 40 shots and boosting the Los Angeles Kings to a 1-0 win over Philadelphia.

Quick blanked the Flyers on three power plays and had to be especially sharp at the end of the game, turning aside all 15 shots he faced in the third period while raising his season record to 25-14-2.

Drew Doughty got the game's only goal 17 seconds into the second period when Anze Kopitar sent a pass up the middle that found the Kings defenseman for a one-timer past Sergei Bobrovsky.

The Kings logged their first regulation-time win in Philadelphia since 1993 and improved to 4-0-2 on a franchise-record, 10-game road trip.

Bobrovsky made 24 saves for the Eastern Conference-leading Flyers, whose four-game home winning steak was snapped.
