NBA: San Antonio 111, Toronto 100

TORONTO, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- DeJuan Blair led a San Antonio comeback with 28 points Wednesday and the Spurs won their fourth straight with a 111-100 decision over Toronto.

The Raptors led by eight during the third quarter, but eventually lost for the 15th time in 16 games.

San Antonio improved the league's leading record to 44-8, which matches the fourth-best start in NBA history. Boston also won 44 of its first 52 games during the 1963-64 season.

Blair made 14-of-21 shots from the field and added 11 rebounds. George Hill scored 18 points and both Tim Duncan and Tony Parker had 16 for the Spurs, who outscored the Raptors 30-16 in the fourth quarter.

Andrea Bargnani had 29 points in leading Toronto. DeMar DeRozan had 25.

San Antonio shot 58 percent from the field and outrebounded Toronto by nine.
