COL BKB: San Diego State 85, Utah 53

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Sixth-ranked San Diego State cruised past Utah 85-53 Tuesday to win its fourth consecutive game.

Billy White and D.J. Gay both scored 15 points for San Diego State (25-1, 9-1 MWC) and Jamaal Franklin added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Will Clyburn led Utah (10-14, 3-7) with 18 points and eight rebounds. Shawn Glover had nine points.

Utah (10-14, 3-7) was weighed down by 15 turnovers and shot just 35.5 percent from the field. The Aztecs shot 45.1 percent but took 10 more shots than Utah and won the battle of the boards 47-32.

San Diego State led 48-21 at halftime and was in front nearly the entire game.
