NHL: Columbus 4, Pittsburgh 1

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Rick Nash and Jakub Voracek registered a goal and assist each Tuesday, propelling the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 4-1 win over Pittsburgh.

Nash scored 6 minutes into the game, putting Columbus ahead for good, while Samuel Pahlsson and Voracek added second-period markers for the Blue Jackets, who won in their first trip into Pittsburgh's new Consol Energy Center.

Steve Mason turned aside 32-of-33 shots to earn the victory for the Blue Jackets, winners of three straight.

Tyler Kennedy got the only goal for the Penguins, who were again playing without superstar Sidney Crosby, out with a concussion.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 21 saves for Pittsburgh.
