NBA: Minnesota 104, New Orleans 92

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Kevin Love scored 27 points and grabbed 17 rebounds Monday, sparking Minnesota to its third road win of the year, 104-92 over New Orleans.

Love went 14-of-14 at the free-throw line and Michael Beasley added 14 points for Minnesota, which improved to 3-23 away from home.

The Timberwolves took control of the game with a 16-6 run in the second quarter, capped by 3-pointers from Love and Anthony Tolliver en route to a 42-33 lead with 6 minutes to go in the frame.

Jonny Flynn chipped in with 13 points and Tolliver and Nikola Pekovic donated 12 apiece for Minnesota.

David West was held to 18 points and Chris Paul added 17 for the Hornets, who lost for the fifth time in six games.
