COL BKB: Brigham Young 78, UNLV 63

PROVO, Utah, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Jimmer Fredette put in 29 points, going 16-of-16 from the free-throw line Saturday in No. 9 Brigham Young's 78-63 victory over Nevada-Las Vegas.

Fredette, the nation's leading scorer, dished off seven assists and Jackson Emery added 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals for BYU (22-2, 8-1 MWC), who swept the season's series from UNLV for the first time since 2003-04.

Stephen Rogers put in 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench and Charles Abouo chipped in with 10 points for the victors.

Anthony Marshall led the Rebels (17-6, 5-4) with 16 points and 12 rebounds, Tre'Von Willis added 15 points and Chace Stanback contributed 14 points and 10 boards in the setback.
