NBA: Golden State 100, Milwaukee 94

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Stephen Curry and Monta Ellis combined for four free throws in the final 8 seconds Thursday, allowing the Golden State Warriors to fight off Milwaukee 100-94.

The Bucks stayed close throughout the game but eventually suffered their third loss in a three-game road trip.

Corey Maggette brought the Bucks within two by making a layup with 10 seconds to play and was fouled going to the basket. Maggette, however, missed his free throw and Milwaukee could not score again.

Curry pushed the Golden State lead to four with his two foul shots and Ellis finished off a 24-point performance by hitting two free throws with 2 seconds remaining.

Ellis bounced back from a rare subpar effort in Golden State's win over Utah Sunday, a game in which he was just 1-of-9 from the field and scored two points.

Dorell Wright made four 3-pointers and added 16 points for the Warriors.

Ersan Ilyasova had 23 points to lead the Bucks, who also lost to the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix on the western trip.
