DALLAS, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Christian Ehrhoff's second-period goal turned out to be the game winner Tuesday in the Vancouver Canucks' 4-1 win over Dallas.
Ehrhoff scored on the power play at 3:05 of the second. Mikael Samuelsson had opened the scoring for Vancouver with a power-play goal in the first period, Ryan Kessler scored a short-handed goal that put Vancouver ahead 3-1 and Alexandre Burrows capped the scoring for the Canucks with a goal off one of Henrik Sedin's two assists.
Corey Schneider stopped all but one of 26 shots on goal in the win, which upped the Canucks' league-leading point total to 73.
Loui Eriksson had the only Dallas goal. Kari Lehtonen gave up four goals on 26 shots for the Stars.
