COL BKB: Texas 69, Texas A&M 49

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Jordan Hamilton scored 20 points and third-ranked Texas posted a rare road win over No. 16 Texas A&M Monday, downing the Aggies 69-49.

Hamilton grabbed six rebounds and Cory Joseph chipped in with 11 points for Texas (19-3, 7-0 Big 12), which logged its first victory at College Station since 2004.

Tristan Thompson donated 10 points and Matt Hill gathered eight rebounds for the Longhorns, who remained undefeated in conference play.

B.J. Holmes provided most of the offense for Texas A&M (17-4, 4-3), scoring 19 points.

David Loubeau added nine points as the Aggies went 1-of-12 from 3-point territory and managed only 30.9 percent shooting overall from the floor.
