Memphis, however, scored 42 points in the final quarter, took the lead on a 3-point play from Randolph with 1:45 remaining and protected its advantage thanks to Randolph's perfect free-throw shooting in the closing seconds.

Philadelphia committed 11 turnovers in the fourth period to help the Memphis comeback.

Randolph scored 22 points and combined with Rudy Gay to produce 17 during the last 12 minutes. Gay finished with 16 and Mike Conley had 13.

Memphis played without O.J. Mayo, who sat out the first game of a 10-game suspension imposed by the NBA for violating the league's drug policy.

Jodie Meeks and Jrue Holiday had 16 points each for the 76ers.
