NBA: New York 93, Miami 88

NEW YORK, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Raymond Felton's four free throws over the final 15 seconds finished off a New York rally Wednesday and brought the Knicks a 93-88 win over Miami.

New York defeated Miami for the first time in eight tries and held Heat superstar LeBron James to seven field goals in 24 attempts.

James chose not to sign with the Knicks prior to the 2010-11 season. In his only prior trip to Madison Square Garden during the current campaign he scored 32 points with 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

This time, however, New York rallied from a nine-point deficit to start the fourth period and clinched the game on Felton's free throw shooting.

Felton gave the Knicks a three-point lead by making two from the line with 15 seconds to go. After Mario Chalmers missed a 3-pointer for Miami, Felton hit two more foul shots to clinch it with 5 seconds remaining.

Miami lost for the fifth time in six games.

Amare Stoudemire led New York with 24 points and Danilo Gallinari had 20. Landry Fields made a pair of 3-pointers for the Knicks during a game-closing 21-12 run.
