COL BKB: Georgetown 77, St. John's 52

WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Jason Clark made all five of his field goal attempts Wednesday in leading No. 20 Georgetown to its third straight win, 77-52 over St. John's.

The Red Storm trailed by four points early in the second half but they managed just 10 points over the game's final 11 minutes as the Hoyas pulled away.

Three of Clark's field goals came from 3-point range and he finished with 16 points and five rebounds. Hollis Thompson delivered 13 off the bench and Austin Freeman had 12 points and moved into 12th place on the all-time Georgetown scoring list.

Georgetown (15-5, 4-4 Big East) shot 52 percent and made half its 18 tries from beyond the arc. The three straight wins have come after a three-game losing streak.

Justin Burrell led St. John's (11-8, 4-5) with 12 points. It was the fifth loss in six games for the Red Storm, all the setbacks coming against ranked teams.

St. John's defeated Georgetown by three points in an earlier meeting this season.
