COL BKB: Seton Hall 90, Syracuse 68

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Jeremy Hazell hit five 3-pointers en route to 28 points Tuesday and Seton Hall shocked No. 10 Syracuse 90-68, handing the Orange a third straight loss.

Hazell grabbed nine rebounds and made four steals and Jordan Theodore contributed 19 points and seven assists for the Pirates (9-12, 3-6 Big East), who won for only the second time in eight games.

Fuquan Edwin netted 13 points, Jeff Robinson contributed 12 points and seven rebounds and Herb Pope added 10 and eight as Seton Hall started the game with a 10-2 run and never looked back.

The Orange (18-3, 5-3), meanwhile, stumbled to a third straight setback, hampered by 36.1 percent shooting from the floor, including 5-of-21 from 3-point territory.

Kris Joseph was held to 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting and Rick Jackson added 12 in the loss.
