COL BKB: Duke 85, Wake Forest 59

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Kyle Singer pumped in 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds and distributed four assists Saturday in No. 5 Duke's 85-59 victory over Wake Forest.

Ryan Kelly added 20 points and six rebounds and Nolan Smith chipped in with 19 points for the Blue Devils (18-1, 5-1 ACC), who won for the second time in seven games at Wake Forest.

Mason Plumlee provided strength under the boards, hauling down 10 rebounds, and Duke's tough defense forced 17 turnovers in the win.

The Demon Deacons (7-13, 0-5 ACC) remained winless in conference play, continuing their worst start since 1989-90.

They were led by Travis McKie's 12 points and nine rebounds. Guy Clark and C.J. Harris each notched 11 points in Wake Forest's loss.
