The deal also includes a club option for 2013 of either $4 million or a $200,000 buyout.

Lindstrom, 30, went 2-5 with the Astros last season, posting a 4.39 ERA with 23 saves in 58 appearances. Houston dealt him to Colorado after the season in exchange for minor league pitchers Jonnathan Aristill and Wes Musick.

The right-hander has compiled a 10-13 record with a 4.00 ERA and 43 saves in 249 career games with the Marlins and the Astros.
