NBA: Chicago 96, Memphis 84

MEMPHIS, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Derrick Rose collected a triple-double with 22 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds Monday in the Chicago Bulls' 96-84 win over Memphis.

It was the first career triple-double for Rose and the first for the Bulls since Kirk Hinrich accomplished the feat in December 2007.

The Bulls won their fifth game in six contests thanks, in part, to Luol Deng's 28 points and Kyle Korver's 22-point performance. The pair were deadly from long range, combining to go 9-of-17 from beyond the arc.

Chicago won despite playing without Carlos Boozer, who was out with an ankle injury.

The Grizzlies were led by Zach Randolph with 21 points and 13 rebounds. O.J. Mayo added 15 points.
