NHL: Phoenix 6, Anaheim 2

GLENDALE, Ariz., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Ray Whitney scored two goals and added an assist Saturday, keying the Phoenix Coyotes' fourth straight win, a 6-2 rout of Anaheim.

Lee Stempniak notched a goal and two assists, Sami Lepisto contributed a goal and an assist and Ilya Bryzgalov made 26 saves for Phoenix, which raised its record to 6-0-2 in its last eight games.

The Coyotes also got goals from Taylor Pyatt and Adrian Aucoin.

Anaheim, which saw its three-game winning streak snapped, was led by Corey Perry with a goal and an assist.

Matt Beleskey also scored and Jonas Hiller let in four goals on 26 shots for the Ducks.
