NBA: Chicago 99, Miami 96

CHICAGO, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Derrick Rose scored 34 points for Chicago and Miami's Dwyane Wade had 33 but it was Kyle Kover who hit the key shot in the Bulls' 99-96 win Saturday.

Kover grabbed a rebound and scored the go-ahead 3-pointer with 25.5 seconds left to give Chicago its second win in a row.

Wade, who hit two 3-pointers late in the final period, missed a potential tying shot in the closing seconds.

The Heat, playing without LeBron James (ankle) for the second straight game, saw their losing streak grow to three. Chris Bosh also missing much of the second half after leaving with an ankle sprain.
