PISCATAWAY, N.J., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Austin Freeman heated up in the second half, scoring 18 of his 25 points in the late going to help No. 19 Georgetown to a 74-65 win over Rutgers.

Freeman was deadly from long range, connecting on 4-of-6 shots from beyond the arc, while also grabbing nine rebounds and dishing off four assists for the Hoyas (13-5, 2-4 Big East).

Chris Wright chipped in with 15 points and Jason Clark added 13 for the victors.

The Scarlet Knights (10-7, 1-4) were led by Gilvydas Biruta with 14 points and six rebounds.
